California Insurance Exam|Prelicensing
Upon completion of the prelicensing course, Fire & Casualty or Personal Lines, you must
go onto the State of California Department of Insurance website, complete an
application and pay a fee. You will be asked to schedule a date and time for your
exam and will be able to print a confirmation of your test date and time.
You may retake the course as many times as necessary until you pass the exam, at no
additional cost.
